Alaska Airlines is further embracing its Pacific Northwest roots by announcing seven new nonstop routes from Anchorage and Portland that will significantly expand its Summer 2026 network.
The additions include long-haul service from Anchorage to Boston, a flight from Boston to Spokane, and new regional links across Washington state, along with a seasonal leisure route to Jackson Hole.
According to the carrier, both Anchorage and Portland are key to its long-term growth plans.
“Anchorage and Portland are essential airports to our guests and us in our growing global network,” said Kirsten Amrine, Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at Alaska Airlines. “The state of Alaska remains high on the wish list of travelers, especially in the summer months, and we’re excited to add new nonstops to get them there.”
Most of the new services will begin in mid-June 2026, with some starting as early as March 2026.

From June to mid-August 2026, Alaska Airlines will introduce three new nonstop routes from Anchorage. This includes a brand new twice-weekly service to Boise, a weekly long-haul flight to Boston that connects Alaska directly with New England, and a twice-weekly return service to Spokane, which has not been part of the network for the last 10 years.
The Anchorage–Boston flight stands out as one of the longest in the schedule, designed to meet the needs of New England travelers heading west.
